OIT-BCS collaborated with Student Affairs, and the Student Government Association, to recommend, and coordinate the installation of different technology equipment throughout the new Davie Student Union building.

The Learning Resources staff of OIT-BCS provided pre-purchasing consultation, and recommendations on the best audiovisual equipment for the building. Furthermore, they coordinated the installation of the equipment in different areas. Overall, audiovisual equipment (ranging from projectors, plasma TVs, audio systems, among other things) has been installed in seven different rooms: 101, 103, 105, 204, 206A, 217, and 223.

OIT-BCS' Computer Lab Manager, Peter Shimpeno, was responsible for the deployment, and machine configuration of the building's computer lounge. The computer lounge contains 10 machines that are open to FAU students. The photos of this article highlight some of the equipment available in some of the facilities.
