|Summer Update from Broward's Learning Resources|

Major initiatives have been implemented to welcome students back to a new academic year. The new initiatives put into practice by Broward OIT-BCS' Learning Resources group will improve the services provided to faculty and students.
During this past month, three classrooms were transformed into e-classrooms. Those rooms were ES-119 (Davie campus), HEC-607, and AT-210 (Fort Lauderdale campus). With the ES-119 addition, all the classrooms in the first floor of the building are now electronic classrooms. Furthermore, the projector of LA-233 was also replaced.
Learning Resources also upgraded their mobile laptop cart. The cart currently contains 10 new laptops. This cart can be moved to any classroom to convert it into a computer room. This type of equipment provides flexibility to professors and students. Users of these machines will also be able to connect to the university's wireless network.
