Florida Atlantic University’s Lifelong Learning Society Jupiter has announced it will show pre-recorded presentations by National Theatre Live and the Bolshoi Ballet.

National Theatre Live is the National Theatre’s groundbreaking project to broadcast world-class theater to cinemas in the United Kingdom and internationally. Launched in 2009 with a broadcast of the National Theatre production of “Phédre” with Helen Mirren, more than 40 other productions have been presented live from both the National Theatre and from other theaters in the UK.

National Theatre Live pre-recorded performances will take place in the Lifelong Learning Society complex at FAU’s John D. MacArthur Campus, 5353 Parkside Dr., in Jupiter, and include:

  • “The Sleeping Beauty” performed by the Bolshoi Ballet on Wednesday, April 19 from 3 to 6 p.m.
  • “Deep Blue Sea” presented by the National Theatre and performed by Helen McCrory and Tim Burke on Friday, May 19 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
