Dragana Simonovska, born and raised in Macedonia, started playing horn at the age of 14. Her first horn studies were under the tutelage of Slobodan Kosturski at DMBUC Ilija Nikolovski Luj in Macedonia , followed by Julie Schleif and Gene Berger at the Interlochen Arts Academy.

Ms. Simonovska holds a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from Lynn University Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Gregory Miller. She also earned a Master of Music and a Master of Science from Florida Atlantic University. Throughout the years she has had the privilege to perform under the baton of such conductors as: Leonard Slatkin, Octavio Mas-arokas, Jon Robertson, Guillermo Figueroa, Gunther Shuller, Kyle Prescott and others.

Besides being an active orchestral and chamber musician, Ms. Simonovska is currently the Horn professor at Florida Atlantic University, a music teacher at Parkland International Music Academy and a freelancer in South Florida.
