  • Designed to prepare non pianists to pass the jazz proficiency requirements of the jazz studies major. Students will progress at their own rate and may test out of portions of the requirements at any time. At such time that the requirements are fulfilled, the student will no longer be required to attend.

  • Open to pianists and instrumentalists, this course is designed to give the student hands-on experience in a variety of collaborative settings, under the direction of an experienced collaborative arts performer and coach, with emphasis on instrumental collaboration and improved sight reading skills.
