  • Vocal - Voice Techniques and 1 semester (min) of applied voice instruction must be completed in the first semester.

    Senior recital - a ½ hour recital in your primary instrument is required.

    • Students whose principal instruments are piano, guitar, or electric bass must choose either the choral or instrumental track and must play a secondary instrument appropriate to that track.  Students must complete a satisfactory audition on both their principal and secondary instruments in order to be accepted into the music education major.  Applied lessons on both the principal and secondary instrument are required every semester in residence.
