FAU’s College of Business Honors Jordan Zimmerman with 2013 Business Leader of the Year Award

BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 27, 2014) – Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business, and presenting sponsor BB&T, recently hosted the 2013 Business Leader of the Year Award annual breakfast at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. This year’s program honored the accomplishments of Jordan Zimmerman, founder and chairman of Zimmerman Advertising. 

“When identifying the business leader of the year, the College of Business looks for that exemplary individual who exhibits vision, innovation, and leadership,” said Daniel Gropper, Ph.D., dean of FAU’s College of Business. “Jordan Zimmerman exemplifies these qualities and more as both a visionary leader and philanthropist committed to education and social responsibility.” 

The Business Leader of the Year award celebrates the accomplishments of business leaders and their ongoing legacy in improving the overall business environment in Florida.  Located in South Florida, Zimmerman Advertising is a $3-billion-a-year firm and the 14th largest full-service agency in the U.S.  Zimmerman Advertising employees more than 1,100 associates across the country and represents prominent retail brands including A.C.
