Florida Atlantic University’s legal assistant certificate program orientation and information session will offer potential students an opportunity to learn about becoming a legal assistant or paralegal, or a person qualified by education, training or work experience that can assist lawyers officially with their legal work.
The program consists of 375 contact hours of legal education and is comprised of 12 courses, allowing students to become experts in such topics as the role of law in American society, legal processes, as well as document preparation in specialized types and fields of law, research and legal writing.
