FAU Unveils Updated Experts Database
Searchable Database Assists
Media, Community in Finding FAU Experts
BOCA RATON, FL (December 3, 2009) –
Florida Atlantic University’s faculty and staff
experts who are available for research purposes, as media sources
and are part of a university speaker’s bureau can now be
searched in the updated version of the university’s online
experts database. This database currently houses profiles
of more than 350 faculty and staff members, and contains
approximately 2,500 searchable keywords with additions to come.
The experts found within the database cover the full range of the
University’s programs, including the arts and humanities,
medicine and health, science and technology, nursing, business,
education, engineering, computer science, architecture, public
affairs and more.
The database has replaced multiple printed directories, and is a
free resource that will be immediately refreshed as new faculty
and staff are added and as areas of expertise expand.
To access the experts database, visit
www.fau.edu/experts.
