FAU’s Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center to Offer Free Memory Screenings
BOCA RATON, FL (November 5, 2008) – Florida Atlantic University’s Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center will offer free memory screenings on Tuesday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the center, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.
The screenings are designed for older adults who are concerned that they may be experiencing greater than normal difficulties with memory. Those who have difficulties with the screening test will be given information on how to obtain a more-thorough evaluation.
“Early detection of memory disorders is highly encouraged,” said Denise Sparks, director of the Center. “Some memory problems can be reversed and others can be treated to slow progression.”
