Robert Michael Pyle is an award-winning writer, independent biologist and distinguished alumnus of Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. He has authored 15 books, including Wintergreen, The Thunder Tree, Chasing Monarchs and the Audubon Society’s Field Guide to North American Butterflies. Pyle won the 2007 National Outdoor Book Award for natural history literature.
This lecture is sponsored by the Scripps Howard Foundation and coordinated by FAU’s School of Communication & Multimedia Studies in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters.
