Brogan ’81, FAU Head Football Coach Howard Schnellenberger, members of the FAU football team, marching band and the cheerleading team will be on hand for the festivities to kick off FAU’s Homecoming.
Signaling a new tradition of senior class giving, Traditions Plaza, centrally located in front of the FAU Bookstore and alongside the campus breezeway, was built through the combined generosity of lead donor and alumnus Vince Wilson, the senior classes of 2006 and 2007, FAU’s department of business services and FAU’s division of facilities. The focal point of the plaza will be a 14-foot clock with a fountain at its base. The end result of the first senior class gift campaign in FAU’s history, the Plaza will serve as an on-campus gathering point for students, faculty, staff and friends of the University.
