FAU to Celebrate ‘Renaissance Remix’
Homecoming 2007

BOCA RATON , FL (October 8, 2007) – Florida Atlantic University will celebrate “Renaissance Remix” Homecoming 2007 from Sunday, October 21 through Sunday, October 28 on all FAU campuses.  

Events taking place that are open to the general public include –

·         A comedy show, featuring comedians Charlie Murphy, Freez Luv, Gary Owen and Teddy Carpenter, Thursday, October 25 at 8 p.m. in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, Boca Raton campus. Tickets are free for students, $12 for others and can be purchased at the FAU Box Office.

·         Homecoming parade, Friday, October 26 at 5 p.m., beginning at the Student Union, Boca Raton campus. The parade will feature FAU President Frank T. Brogan, along with First Lady Courtney Brogan, local marching bands, FAU’s athletic teams, and a number of floats representing various university student groups and organizations.

·         FAU vs. University of Louisiana-Monroe Homecoming Football Game, Saturday, October 27 at 4 p.m., Lockhart Stadium, Fort Lauderdale. Festivities include the FAU Greek Alumni Tailgate from 2 to 4 p.m. in the center of the South Parking Lot, as well as the announcement of the 2007 Homecoming King and Queen.
