FAU to Host Events in Observance
of 9/11
BOCA RATON, FL (September 8, 2010) – Florida Atlantic University will host events in observance of 9/11 on FAU’s Boca Raton campus.
The following events will take place:
Mass of Peace and Remembrance
Saturday, September 11 at 4:30 p.m.

The FAU Catholic Newman Club will offer a Mass of
Peace and Remembrance celebrated by Monsignor Tom Skindeleski,
pastor of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish in Delray Beach. The Mass
also will be the Sunday Vigil Mass. A reception will
follow.

The FAU Muslim Student Organization, the Jewish Student
Union and Hillel are offering an opportunity for the community to
read a portion of the Qur’an and discuss the similarities
of the Qur’an and the Torah with a Rabbi and Imam.
