FAU to Host 2009 State of the
University Address
BOCA RATON, FL (September 8, 2009) - Florida
Atlantic University President Frank T. Brogan and incoming FAU
Interim President John Pritchett will deliver the State of the
University addresson Wednesday, September 9, beginning at 10 a.m.
in the University Theatre on the Boca Raton campus.
The event will be webcast at

This year’s address will mark an important transition at FAU, as Brogan will soon leave FAU to become Chancellor of the State University System, and Pritchett, who serves as FAU’s university provost, will take over in his new role as interim president. President Brogan will review highlights of this past academic year, and Board of Trustees Chair Nancy Blosser, along with Pritchett, will share their thoughts and vision about the bright future that lies ahead for FAU.
