FAU Presents the Jazz Ratz Quintet
BOCA RATON, FL (September 27, 2007) – The department of music in Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters presents the Jazz Ratz Quintet with a concert of the music of Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker. The concert will take place on Sunday, October 14 at 3 p.m. in the University Theatre on FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road. General admission is $15 at the door, and FAU students, faculty, staff and alumni may obtain free admission with ID. Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-564-9539, by visiting www.fauevents.com or at the door two hours prior to the concert.
Performers in the Jazz Ratz Quintet, an ensemble in residence at FAU, include Mike Brignola on sax/woodwinds, Tim Walters on trumpet/flugelhorn, Rob Rimmington on bass, Dave Hammer on piano and Tony Lavender on drums.
