FAU Calendar of Events for Week of

BOCA RATON, FL (August 16, 2010) – Florida Atlantic University will host the following events:
FAU’s Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality
Studies presents a “Women’s Equality Day
Celebration”
The free event will take place on
Thursday, August 26 from 9:30 a.m. till noon
in the Senate Chambers and Majestic Palm Room in the University
Center,
FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades
Road.
The celebration will include presentations by local
organizations involved in women’s rights; a presentation
by FAU President Mary Jane Saunders and other speakers; and
screening of the film “Iron Jawed Angels.” For

FAU’s Center for Autism and Related
Disabilities will host “Behavior Basics,” a
training workshop
The free event will take place on
Thursday, August 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in MP
101,
FAU’s Treasure Coast campus, 500 NW
California Blvd., Port St. Lucie.
FAU’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities
will offer “Behavior Basics,” a training workshop which
is an introduction to behavior and strategies to use with
individuals on the autism spectrum. For more information and to
