FAU Hosts Hard Hat Tour of Living
Room Theaters Complex
BOCA RATON, FL (August 4, 2010) – Florida Atlantic University will be hosting a hard hat tour of the Living Room Theaters complex for members of the press on Wednesday, August 11, at 10 a.m. The complex is located on FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road.A short presentation will take place in the Performing Arts Building, room 101, adjacent to the movie complex, before the tour.
FAU’s new movie complex, operated by Living Room Theaters, Inc. (LRT), is in the final stages of construction, with completion scheduled for October 2010. This public/private partnership is a unique project. There will be four 50-seat theaters which will screen foreign, independent and classic films using LRT’s state of the art playback technology . There will also be a European-style café that will serve gourmet food, coffee, beer and wine. The space will be used for students during the day to study film with professional picture and sound quality, and the theaters and café will be open nightly and on weekends to the public.
