FAU to Celebrate Summer Commencement
BOCA RATON, FL (July 30, 2009) – Florida Atlantic University will confer more than 1,600 degrees during its summer 2009 commencement ceremonies, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 4 at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, located on FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road. The commencement exercises will be the last to be presided over by FAU President Frank T. Brogan, as he will soon be taking his new position as chancellor of Florida’s State University System.
These students will join more than 111,000 alumni who have graduated from FAU since the University opened its doors.
