Kim.

The “Urbanism in Process” lecture with Mikyoung
Kim looks at the impact of location and site in regards to urban or
architectural projects. Kim, a professor of landscape
architecture and a department chair at the Rhode Island School of
Design, is an award-winning landscape architect and environmental
artist who is currently working on the public art master plan for
Port Everglades. Her work ranges from garden and plazas to
large public scale parks and master plans. Kim holds a
master’s degree in landscape architecture from the Harvard
University Graduate School of Design and a bachelor’s degree
in sculpture from Oberlin College. This lecture was made possible
by the Public Art and Design Program of the Broward County Cultural
Division. A reception will follow the lecture.
