The 60-member Klezmer Company Orchestra and special guest vocalists, under the direction of Aaron Kula, will present “Spirit of America: Bernstein Song Book & Music from Fantasia,” on Sunday, June 27, at 3 p.m. in FAU’s Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium. The program will include Bernstein’s “Candide Overture;” selections from West Side Story, including “Tonight” and “I Just Met a Girl Named Maria;” “William Tell Overture” by Rossini; “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” by Dukas; and “Always” by Berlin.
This is the fifth annual KCO concert celebrating FAU Libraries’ Marvin and Sybil Weiner Spirit of America Collection. The concert is sponsored by FAU Libraries with additional support from WXEL.
