The Klezmer Company Orchestra, under the direction of Aaron Kula, will present “Spirit of America: Gershwin & & Copland,” on Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m. in FAU’s Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium. The program will feature 90 performers who will present All-American music, including Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and selections from “Porgy and Bess” sung by the Ebony Chorale of the Palm Beaches, plus Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” and “A Lincoln Portrait.”
The concert is sponsored by FAU Libraries, with additional support from WXEL and FAU’s Student Union. This is the “not to miss” concert of the summer.
