FAU Jupiter Hosts Lecture on
Climate Change
Dr. Raymond Najjar to Speak on
the Impacts of Climate Change on Coastal Regions

by Dr. Raymond Najjar, “Will Climate Change
Transform Estuaries? A Case Study of
Chesapeake Bay.”

Dr. Raymond Najjar is an associate professor of oceanography in the
department of meteorology at Penn State University. The
lecture will provide an overview on climate impacts on coastal
ecosystems, with an emphasis on the current understanding of the
potential impact of climate change on the Chesapeake Bay.
This lecture is organized by Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute
and the Florida Center for Environmental Studies. It is
sponsored by Florida Sea Grant.
