The
19th annual Wellness Triathlon consists of a quarter-mile swim in
the Atlantic Ocean parallel to the beach, as well as a 10-mile
flat bike ride and 3.1-mile run along A1A. The event is limited
to 1,000 participants who may compete as individuals, or teams of
two or three people.
Registration can be completed online at www. imAthLETE.com prior to Friday, April 16 at midnight, or by downloading the registration and consent form and mailing it to Florida Atlantic University, Today & Beyond Wellness, SS-222, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431. Registration also can be done in person on Saturday, April 17 at the FAU Recreation and Fitness Center, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus, from 1 to 5 p.m. or on Sunday, April 18 at Spanish River Park from 5 to 6:45 a.m. A free race clinic designed to assist participants new to the sport will be offered at the Recreation and Fitness Center on Saturday, April 17 from noon to 1 p.m. Participants may pick up their races packet information directly after the clinic.
All revenue generated from the race will go to support FAU’s Today & Beyond Wellness and programs for the university community.
