Ed McMahon, senior fellow for sustainable development and environmental policy with the Urban Land Institute in Washington, D.C., has decades of experience in land conversation and land development. He will discuss sustainability in the context of climate change and high energy costs.
The event is hosted by the Design Institute at Abacoa, FAU’s Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions, Florida Atlantic University and the Abacoa Partnership for Community, ULI Southeast Florida/Caribbean, Treasure Coast Section of the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Palm Beach County Planning Congress.
