FAU Announces Scholarship
Auditions for Piano and Creative Writing Camps
BOCA RATON (March 25, 2011) – Florida Atlantic
University has announced the schedule for their summer piano and
creative writing camps for students in grades kindergarten through
12
th grade. All camps will take place at FAU’s Boca
Raton campus, located at 777 Glades Road. Camp hours are 9
a.m. to 4 p.m
. Tuition is $260 per week, and there is an
application fee of $10. Some scholarships are available.
There will be an audition for scholarships on Saturday, May

Students will have exposure to world-class teaching and performing,
and gain an appreciation for the world of classical music and art
forms. Daily activities will include private and group
lessons, technique classes, supervised practice, presentations and
performance, entertainment, and recreation. Each camp is open
to all students, whether experienced or not. However, there is an
audition for piano camp for placement purposes. The dates for piano
camp are Grades 6-12, June 13-17 and June 20-24; Grades K-5, June
27–July 1, July 11–15 and July 18–22.
