FAU to Host Research Week 2007
BOCA RATON, FL (March 27, 2007) – Florida Atlantic University’s Division of Research is hosting “Research Week 2007” from April 2-6 on the Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road and the John D. MacArthur Campus, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter. Celebrating Excellence in Research, this year’s theme, will showcase student and faculty research taking place across all disciplines at FAU.
Research Week will provide many exciting speakers, as well as activities, events and workshops of interest to students, faculty, staff and the general public. The mission of Research Week 2007 is to promote the research, scholarly and creative work by faculty, staff and students; to provide opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and research; and to facilitate communication among FAU students, faculty and researchers.
In conjunction with Research Week 2007, FAU is also hosting the Economic Development Corporation of South Florida’s (EDC) sixth annual conference, BioTech 2007, on Wednesday, April 4 at the University Center on the Boca Raton Campus.
