Alumni Association to Host Networking Event in Washington,
D.C.
BOCA RATON, FL (February 26, 2010) – The Florida Atlantic University National Alumni Association (FAUNAA) will host a networking event at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant, 901 F Street NW, Washington, D.C., on Friday, March 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event is open to all FAU alumni that live in and around the Washington, D.C. area.
The FAUNAA also will honor alumnus of distinction Dr. C. Mark Eakin ’80, ’84, who recently received the Silver Medal for Scientific/Engineering Achievement from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Eakin currently directs the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Coral Reef Watch in Silver Spring, Maryland.
