FAU Hosts First Entrepreneur
Networking Event at Oceans 234
BOCA RATON, FL (February 26, 2010) – Florida
Atlantic University’s Entrepreneurship Club recently hosted
its first FAU Entrepreneur Happy Hour at Oceans 234 in Deerfield
Beach.More than 120 FAU students, faculty, alumni and community
members attended the inaugural networking event.
“The happy hour was a great opportunity to tap into the South
Florida entrepreneurial spirit by networking with students, alumni
and local executives,” said Patrick Ramsden, executive at
Intelligent Office in Boca Raton. “I look forward to
attending the next one.” Other attendees included Boca Raton
Deputy Mayor Susan Haynie; C.J. Wilson, founder of Global Alliance
Ltd. and current managing member at Florida Equity Partners; and
Patrick Ramsden, who operates Intelligent Office of Boca Raton.
The event was held in partnership with the FAU College of Business,
College of Engineering and Computer Science, Adams Center for
Entrepreneurship and the FAU National Alumni Association to bring
together local executives, entrepreneurs, alumni and current FAU
students and faculty to network and share ideas on business and
entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneurship Club aims to serve the broad
range of students at FAU seeking to engage in the top of
entrepreneurship.
