The 25-member KCO turns up the heat
with its new KlezKatz vocal ensemble for a concert that features
masterfully blended jazz and ethnic music from the Americas, Europe
and the Mediterranean, and is the main event of “Kultur
Festival 2010,” which features six days of concerts,
lectures, dance, film and book arts at four venues on Saturday,
March 6, through Thursday, March 11. The festival, founded by Kula,
showcases FAU Libraries’ special collections through guest
artists, distinguished scholars and critically-acclaimed
musicians. Kultur Festival 2010 is sponsored by the Jewish
Cultural Society at FAU, the Nathan and Marion Crosby Holocaust and
Judaic Library Collections Endowment Fund, WXEL and the South
Florida Association of Jewish Libraries.
