FAU Students Learn to Professionally Dine at Etiquette Dinner

BOCA RATON , FL (February 22, 2007) – Florida Atlantic University will host an “Etiquette Dinner” for FAU students to learn how to dine like a diplomat and impress prospective employers.   The dinner will take place Monday, February 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the University Center’s Grand Palm Room, Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road.

Jacqueline Whitmore, an international etiquette expert, will offer networking tips and strategies on how to dine like a pro during formal business situations, while dinner guests eat a four-course meal.  More than 170 students and FAU alumni are expected to attend.

Whitmore is the founder of the Protocol School of Palm Beach, a business etiquette consulting firm whose clients include Citibank, Altria, Ernst & Young, Caterpillar, Bloomingdale’s, Kerr-McGee and State Farm.

The etiquette dinner is sponsored by FAU’s Career Development Center & Co-op Education, FAU Student Alumni Association, and the FAU Boca Raton Student Government Association.
