FAU Jupiter’s Lifelong Learning Society Presents Pioneers of the New Acoustic Age
An Evening of Classical and Jazz Music with the California Guitar Trio
JUPITER, FL (January 14, 2011) - Florida Atlantic University’s Lifelong Learning Society Jupiter presents the California Guitar Trio,“Pioneers of the New Acoustic Age” concert, on Saturday, January 29, in the LLS auditorium at 7:30 p.m. at the John D. MacArthur Campus, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter.
Featuring original compositions and arrangements of classical and rock pieces, this performance will appeal to music lovers of all ages. The Trio, Paul Richards, Bert Lams and Hideyo Moriya, have been featured on the television coverage of the 1998 and 2000 Olympic Games and on CBS, NBC and CNN. They also performed on the 2003 Grammy-Award-nominated track Apollo on Tony Levin’s Pieces of the Sun CD.
