FAU to Commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with March and Candlelight Vigil

WHAT:      Florida Atlantic University’s Student Government, along with the
                    Black Student Union and FAU’s department of multicultural affairs,
                    will hold a march and candlelight vigil to honor Dr. Martin Luther
                    King Jr. and memorialize three FAU students who died in off-campus
                    race-related incidents in recent years.

WHEN:                 Tuesday, January 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

WHERE:              March from Student Union to Free Speech Area
                               FAU’s Boca Raton campus                                   
                               777 Glades Road

COST:                   Free and open to the public

The march and candlelight vigil will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as serve to memorialize three FAU students who died in off-campus race-related incidents in recent years. The vigil will begin in front of the FAU Student Union on the Boca Raton campus and end at the Free Speech Area.
