FAU to Commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with March and Candlelight Vigil
WHAT: Florida
Atlantic University’s Student Government, along with the
Black Student Union and FAU’s department of multicultural
affairs,
will hold a march and candlelight vigil to honor Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. and memorialize three FAU students who died in off-campus
race-related incidents in recent years.
WHEN: Tuesday, January 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The march and candlelight vigil will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as serve to memorialize three FAU students who died in off-campus race-related incidents in recent years. The vigil will begin in front of the FAU Student Union on the Boca Raton campus and end at the Free Speech Area.
