FAU Jupiter’s Lifelong Learning Society Hosts William N. Shepherd to Discuss Law and Disorder in Florida

Shepherd who will speak on “Law and Disorder: Crime
and Prosecutions in Florida.”

William N. Shepherd, a statewide prosecutor in Florida, will discuss various criminal cases, including a Miami-based national auto theft ring operated from a federal prison, an HIV clinic which stole millions of dollars from patients and marijuana “grow houses” that pay their homeowner association dues on time. Shepherd will illustrate how law enforcement has focused increased resources and aggressive tactics against these criminals.
