| FAU Student Ambassador Laura Stout (right) coordinated the Nursing Student Association’s angel tree on the Treasure Coast campus. The seven-foot tree held the names of girls and boys and their Christmas wish lists, provided by the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Christmas Toy Drive. Faculty and staff quickly helped make wishes come true for 40 children in the local community. |

The Office of International Programs (OIP), FAU's "Global Gateway" for students interested in studying abroad, has opened an office at the Jupiter campus. OIP academic program advisor Dawn Wooten will have office hours twice a month on Thursdays, starting Jan. 11. Students on the Jupiter and Treasure Coast campuses can get advice on study abroad options and how to add an overseas experience to their studies at FAU. To make an appointment, e-mail dwooten3@fau.edu, or arrange for an appointment on site at the Hibel Arts Building (HA) Resource Room.
