Permanent Membership Cards - Frequently Asked Questions

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter members have been asking the following questions about the new permanent membership cards:  

 

Do I have to come to the office each time I register for a new class, in order for it to be added to my membership card?

Each time you register for classes, and your registration is processed, classes will be automatically uploaded onto your permanent membership card. You do not have to come to the office each time you register for a class.

How do I get my parking hangtag now that Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter is not mailing tickets? Do I need to come to the office to pick it up?

As of the fall 2018 term, we do not provide parking hangtags. After paying the University Fee, a parking permit is automatically validated for the vehicle plate number that you have entered on our system. For more information, please see our FAQ page.

If I am an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Boca member, will I receive a permanent membership card for Osher Lifelong Learning at FAU, Jupiter?

The new permanent membership cards are issued to Osher Lifelong Learning Jupiter members only. In place of a membership card, Osher Lifelong Learning Boca members will need to present their transaction receipt when entering class.

If I am a non-member will I receive a permanent membership card for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter?

Permanent membership cards are issued to Osher Lifelong Learning Jupiter members only. In place of a membership card, non-members will need to present their transaction receipt when entering class.

I am a member of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter, but I have not received my new permanent membership card.

As a current Osher Lifelong Learning Jupiter member, you will receive your new membership card once you renew your membership for the 2016/2017 academic year. If you have already renewed your membership for 2021/2022 and have not received your card, please contact the office at 561-799-8547.

Where can I see the time and dates of my lectures and/or courses, now that I have a permanent membership card?

Osher Lifelong Learning Jupiter members, Osher Lifelong Learning Boca members and non-members can view the dates and times of their classes listed on their transaction receipts. If selected, the transaction receipts are mailed to registered students. All students receive a digital copy of their transaction receipt in the email entered in our registration system. Alternatively, students can view and/or reprint their transaction receipts through our registration system. For more information, please see our FAQ page .
