Brigadier General Jack Bohm:
A Member of the Judge Advocate
General Corps, U. S. Army

Brigadier General Jack Bohm was the Chief Judge, U.S. Army Court of Military Appeals and Commander of the Army Legal Services Agency.

He was born on July 5, 1924 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. In World War II, he enlisted in the Army in November 1942 while attending the University of Pennsylvania. He was assigned to the 10th Armored Division as a Technician 4th Class. Bohm participated in three military campaigns.

He returned to the United States in 1946 and he attended the Law School of Washington University in St. Louis and graduated in June 1948. Bohm was commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in the JAGC Reserve in December 1948.

Bohm rose through the ranks and was selected by the President as a Brigadier General in October 1977. The Senate confirmed the selection in February 1978.

Bohm was assigned as Chief Judge, U. S. Army Court of Military Appeals and he was the Commander of the Army Legal Services. When he was not on active duty, he practiced law in Kansas City. He retired from the U.S. Army in July 1984.

Brig. Gen. Jack Bohm is married with three children and four grandchildren.
