The Sanborn Map Company produced a series of maps dating from the 1860s to present day that depict the commercial, industrial, and residential sections of around 12,000 cities and towns in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This collection, digitized from original copyright-deposit copies now held by the University of Florida's Map and Imagery Library, includes more than 3000 map sheets dating from 1860 through 1923. Digitized maps are in the public domain and illustrate the development of more than 130 Florida cities.
