The 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) has a goal of empowering women for a lifetime of leadership. WLI wants to raise awareness of critical issues women face in leadership, thus providing opportunities to transform awareness into action by empowering participants to advocate for themselves and others. Attendees will hear from amazing spotlight speakers and panel.

For Students:

The 3rd annual Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) will allow students from all of FAU’s campuses to get informed, empowered and involved with the challenges that women in leadership face. Students will hear from a diverse and powerful group of women spotlight speakers and/or panelists on their personal stories and ideas about issues facing women today. Students will collaborate with each other and the speakers during our “Now What” activity groups and panel discussion. WLI will conclude with a simulated women’s march and networking reception to personally connect with the speakers and others who attend. Faculty/Staff

For the first time ever, WLI will also provide opportunities for staff and faculty to benefit from this institute! Attendees will be able to participate in breakout sessions for staff/faculty where guest speakers will discuss the specific ways women can approach leadership roles and how women’s leadership overall can impact their career development.
