Florida Atlantic University's first class graduated in 1965. Since then, more than 120,000 students have received degrees. FAU alumni include U.S. and foreign dignitaries, an astronaut and executives who have served in organizations such as Boeing, eBay, Motorola and the White House.
The Florida Atlantic University National Alumni Association (FAUNAA) was founded in 1968 to represent and promote alumni and University interests by facilitating on-going relationships between FAU and its alumni and by fostering loyalty and support for FAU.
The most exciting and crucial years in FAU's history are upon us. The need for private support is at an all-time high. FAU is constantly being challenged to keep programs and instructional equipment up-to-date in the midst of increasing education costs, state budget cuts and rapidly changing technology.
