University Relations
The Office of University Relations serves as a liaison with FAU's Media Relations in Boca Raton on news items regarding the MacArthur Campus, its faculty, students and events. Press releases, media advisories and calendar listings are routinely sent to local media regarding people and events at FAU Jupiter. The office produces various publications, including a campus newsletter, MacHoot, and an annual report, The Year in Review
. The office also manages information for the campus web page.
University Relations works with the Campus Vice President to identify and facilitate special events important to the campus, including joint cultural and educational efforts with community organizations and FAU colleges. Additional functions such as President's Community Council luncheon, ground breakings, building dedications and alumni events are also planned and implemented. The office maintains a monthly calendar of events which is disseminated to campus representatives in order to promote cooperation and avoid conflicts in scheduling.

MacArthur Campus University Relations also works with the directors and staff of the other FAU departments to develop effective media strategies for campus programs and to publicize campus events.
