FAU moved a critical mass of neuroscience faculty to the Jupiter Campus to launch the Jupiter Life Science Initiative – a challenge to create unmatched undergraduate and graduate education opportunities of two on-site partners: Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience and The Scripps Research Institute.
A win-win for Nikon and FAU’s next generation of scientists. FAU’s newly-formed Brain Institute is now home to the first Nikon Center of Excellence in the Southeastern United States. Making it one of seven designated centers in the United States and 17 worldwide.
For two decades, FAU’s Center for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (CMBB) has linked FAU with institutions and industries in the field. The Center has established a partnership with Riviera Beach based Sancilio & Company, Inc., a biotech company, to train highly-skilled workers in biopharmaceuticals and drug development.
