Numerous members of the FAU community have received an e-mail that appears to be from "EDU SUPPORT TEAM" and asks for the recipient's username, password and date of birth. This message is not legitimate and is known as "phishing" -- an attempt to get personal information from people.
Please keep in mind that no legitimate entity would ask for this information via an e-mail. Likewise, it is a smart practice to never provide personal information in an e-mail. Lastly, FAU would never ask for someone's username and password via e-mail.
