This summer IRM completed technology upgrades to the remaining 42 traditional classrooms on the Boca Raton, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Treasure Coast and Jupiter campuses. The upgraded e-classrooms are multimedia rooms that provide state-of-the-art technology that will aid and enhance both the teaching and learning experiences. Each features a secure teaching console with desktop computer and flat-screen monitor, network connectivity (including laptop connection), a DVD/VCR player, ceiling- or wall-mounted speakers, a ceiling-mounted LCD projector, and a system switcher and controller. Document cameras can be scheduled in these rooms as necessary.
Instructors are encouraged to visit the rooms before classes begin and to schedule time with campus AV staff for personal orientation and training.
