Licensing Agreement for FAU Software Terms of use: Information Resource management (IRM) makes available information, materials, and products on this Web site that are subject to the following terms and conditions. By agreeing to these terms, you agree that the software being purchased is for on campus use at Florida Atlantic University and that you are purchasing a license for each machine the software will be installed. Use of Software: The software and accompanying documentation that are made available to you are copyrighted. Use of the software is governed by the terms of the end user license agreement, which accompanies or is included with such software. You will not be able to download or install any software that is accompanied by or includes an end user license agreement unless you agree to the terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the software. You are not authorized to disassemble, modify or remove any parts of the program code. You are not authorized to transfer your license to anyone without prior notification and approval through ECS. Software Piracy: Software piracy is a crime that costs the industry billions of dollars each year. Using illegal software needlessly puts your business and your professional reputation at risk. But even worse, if you pirate software, you could be on the receiving end of heavy fines and even a jail sentence. Software piracy is clearly not a gamble any person or business can afford to take. Duplication: IRM is not granting you duplication rights other than what may be outlined in the individual software license agreements for backup purposes only. Any unauthorized duplication of the software media is prohibited by law. Trademark use: "Trademarks" include words, logos, designs, symbols or slogans used to distinguish one's goods or services from those of others. ECS grants no rights to you to use any trademarks associated with the software made available for on campus use. Refer to the guidelines of each corporation regarding the usage. Checking "yes" to the radio below means you understand and agree to the above statements as well as the terms of the license agreement provided by each individual vendor.
