IRM-BCS implemented a new layout for the Fort Lauderdale Computer Lab (HEC-611). After evaluating alternative layouts, IRM-BCS selected a new layout that provides a much more open area and a better traffic flow within the facility.

Some of the improvements that the new layout offers include: allowing students to work in groups in a much easier way, grouping computers by type (Macs and PCs), and allowing lab assistants to be closer to the cluster of printers, thus improving their print services and support to users.
