Video Teleconference E-Classrooms | Fort Lauderdale Campus

FAU has room standards based on equipment assigned to each classroom. These standards are used by the Registrar’s Office to effectively assign space based on the pedagogical needs of each instructor.

The term e-classroom is used for the electronic equipment and network capabilities which enhance the teaching and learning experience of the students.

Video teleconference e-classrooms are rooms that contain the following equipment:

  • Networked Computer
  • Mounted Projector
  • Laptop Accommodations
  • DVD/VCR
  • Document Camera
  • Touch Panel Crestron Control System
  • Video Conference Equipment

Overall, there are 2 video teleconference e-classrooms at the Fort Lauderdale campus, distributed among the Higher Education Complex (HEC) building.
