In the interest of strengthening the security of all Blackboard accounts, effective 8/25/2007 IRM will no longer reset Blackboard passwords over the phone via the help desk.

If you have forgotten your password or you are unable to log into Blackboard, please click on the "Forgot your password?" link (found directly below the username/password boxes). 

This method of password reset is much more secure than the phone method.  You will be directed to an online form where you provide your name and username (or name and e-mail address) and a link to a secure password reset page is sent to the email address which Blackboard has on record for the you (in most cases this is your FAU e-mail address). Unless your have allowed others to log into your email, you will be the only person who can reset the Blackboard password.
