• There was a network hardware failure affecting network connectivity across all campuses including telephone services outside of the Boca Raton campus. Network access was restored and the problem was resolved.
Saturday, October 31 - November 2, 2009
• There was an issue with people who have AT&T (formerly Bellsouth) as their Internet Service Provider having intermittent issues connecting to FAU's network. This affected access to Blackboard, MyFAU, and other applications. Cogent reported they isolated the bad path within their network. Our testing indicates the issue has been resolved.

• ODS refresh is in process and tables might not fully populate. ODS Refresh was completed by the afternoon.

• SafeAssign, Scholar, and Bb Sync were intermittently unavailable on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11 due to system maintenance by Blackboard. During that time users were not able to submit assignments to SafeAssign.

- There was a problem with Symantec Endpoint and Firefox3.5.2.exe that caused Symantec to think the .exe was a virus and delete it. We have applied updated definitions to our server and the issue is now resolved.
