Our intensive English full-time Summer 2018 program is designed for students who plan to study at a U.S. university and for learners who need to improve their level of English to advance in their profession. The I-20 is provided for qualified students attending the full session or the mini-session.

Levels           

 

High-beginning* to Advanced Levels

 

  *Beginning level students on the Academic Track must have basic (travel) English knowledge.

Program

Duration 

Full Session: 12 weeks, May 11 - August 3 (full-time program, full program length)

 

Mini-Session: 6 weeks: June 22 - August 3 (full-time program, reduced program length)

 

Vacation Days: May 28 and July 4

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

$3875 tuition

$175 application fee (non-refundable)

Courses

Morning Courses:

Five levels of Reading and Writing

High-beginning to High-intermediate levels of Grammar

Advanced learners take Specific Topics in Grammar, Research & Presentation, and Pronunciation during the Grammar block time

 

Afternoon Courses:

High-beginning to Intermediate learners take Listening and Speaking courses

High-Intermediate and Advanced learners take US Culture (HI), Business English (ADV), and Communication (listening/speaking) courses

Program Content

As an English for Academic Purposes student, you will learn to do the following:

1. Comprehend lectures, discussions, and informal conversations

2. Read and understand university level texts

3. Speak confidently, accurately, and fluently

4. Express your ideas clearly and coherently in writing

5. Identify cultural conventions of a North American university system
